This course is ideal for Quinnipiac students, faculty, staff, and community members who want to be equipped with life-saving skills without a medical background. Whether you're a student involved in campus organizations, a faculty member looking to ensure safety in your classroom or part of the administrative staff who wishes to be prepared for any emergency, this course offers essential training. You'll learn CPR techniques, how to use an AED, and how to respond to choking incidents in adults, children, and infants. Completing this course can fulfill regulatory requirements and empower you to take swift, effective action during emergencies both on and off campus.

HeartCode BLS Skills Session (Online AHA assignment completion required)

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning option for the BLS Course. HeartCode BLS delivers the lessons to the viewer at their own pace. Then, the providers will attend an in-person skills session to demonstrate what they learned. The cost of the skills session is $30 to be paid upon arrival to the skills session.
This course certifies individuals for two years.
